Christopher L. Ganim, CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®
President + CEO
Chris joined the Ganim family business in 2014 after beginning his career in information technology. What started as a client service role grew into a deep commitment to thoughtful, conservative financial planning. Early on, he realized that the work that mattered most was the kind rooted in doing what’s genuinely best for the client.
As President and CEO of Ganim Wealth, Chris leads with an analytical, detail-driven approach. He works closely with clients and their advisors to build financial plans that are transparent, carefully modeled, and aligned with long-term goals. His focus is on helping clients feel confident in their decisions, without unnecessary complexity or over-promising.
Chris holds his Series 7, Series 66, and life, accident, and health insurance licenses. He has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designations from The American College of Financial Services, and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2022. He graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management.
Chris is registered as an Investment Adviser Representative with Kestra Advisory Services, LLC and is a Registered Representative with Kestra Investment Services, LLC.
Outside of work, Chris serves as the Treasurer for his son’s Cub Scout Pack. Previously, he served on the board of the Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce and was a founding board member and co-chair of the Marketing Committee for the former Bridgeport Regional Business Council young professionals affiliate, Thrive. Chris lives in Orange, CT with his wife and two children.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) owns the CFP® certification mark, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification mark, and the CFP® certification mark (with plaque design) logo in the United States, which it authorizes for use by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
